User Declaration
By registering and using UmpBook, you make the following declarations and confirmations:
- Bona Fide Status: I am a bona fide umpire, sports official, coach, organisation representative, or office bearer involved in sports officiating and event management.
- Information Accuracy: I confirm that all information provided in my registration and profile is true, accurate, current, and complete to the best of my knowledge.
- Platform Rules: I understand that my use of UmpBook is subject to the platform's Terms of Service, rules, and regulations.
- Compliance: I understand that my account and access privileges can be suspended or terminated if I violate the platform's Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or provide false information.
Participation at Own Risk
I HEREBY ACCEPT THAT:
- I participate in all sporting events, officiating activities, and bookings arranged through UmpBook entirely at my own risk.
- I acknowledge that sports officiating and participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Physical injury from sporting activities
- Travel risks to and from events
- Weather-related hazards
- Facility-related risks
- Interaction with participants and spectators
Indemnity & Liability
UmpBook, its owners, operators, employees, directors, partners, sponsors, service providers, and all organisations using the platform against:
- All and any actions, claims, demands, or proceedings of whatever nature
- Any loss, damage, injury, or death
- Any costs, expenses, or liabilities
Which may arise out of, or be connected with, or result from:
- My participation in any event or activity booked through UmpBook
- My use of the UmpBook platform
- My travel to or from any event
- Any actions or omissions during officiating duties
- Any breach of these declarations or the Terms of Service
Medical Fitness & Insurance
Minor Consent
If you are registering as a minor (under 18 years of age):
- Your parent or legal guardian must have reviewed and approved this User Consent & Declaration.
- Your parent or legal guardian must understand the nature of the sporting activities and officiating duties.
- Your parent or legal guardian must consent to all declarations and indemnities on your behalf.
- Your parent or legal guardian accepts responsibility for your use of the platform and your participation in events.
By allowing a minor to register, the parent/legal guardian confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms, declarations, and indemnities contained in this document and the Terms of Service.
